The american movie "Wild Speed x 3 TOKYO DRIFT" is scheduled to land on Japanese shores in September. Roughly 90% of the movie settings are located in Japan, with stunning race battles staged in the metropolitan areas of Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Roppongi. The movie features highly modified Fairlady Z350s and RX-7s. Some of the car action scenes are said to have been coordinated by Keiichi Tsuchiya.

The Yokomo booth was on display at the 'Multiplex' motorsports festival held 5/27(Sat) and 28(Sun). Odaiba was transformed into a motor amusement town, featuring motorcycle drift races, acrobatic stunts, a BMX event, midget car races, photo sessions, and live stages. The highlight of the show was the acrobatic demonstration featuring the Yokomo sponsored HKS Silvia and HKS Altezza driven by Nobuteru Taniguchi, and the RSR Supra driven by Manabu Orido.
